Saturday 18 April 2009: The London Times featured our house as Number 8 in their "Top 20 Family Holidays Under £2000".
Somehow they found "Le Chabrol" while choosing places from the Canary Islands to Turkey, from Wales to Tuscany.
(And we're the only one who got a photo!). Page 40 in the "Weekend" section.
We're in the loveliest part of the
Dordogne, itself one of France's most scenic and historic regions. Renowned throughout the world for its foie gras,
truffles, strawberries and walnuts, we're just two hours from the glorious vinyards of Bordeaux. Visit the caves of
prehistoric Cro Magnon man, the castle of Richard the Lionheart, the chateau where Josephine Baker raised her rainbow tribe.
And SO. MUCH. MORE.
